So we took a little bit of a detour, may feel like we left the interstate and went down some parkway or secondary road... but let me assure you it all has a point.
Back to the Macro Routine- if there are elements within your macro routine you either enjoy, add value to your life, and at least perceive are mandatory activities throughout the day then why would you want to risk having to spend 12 weeks rebuilding your optimized life by (as alluring as it is...) sleeping in until 3 min before your first meeting??
Before #shelteringinplace... 3 min before your first meeting you had the kids off to school, maybe achieved a new Personal Best on that morning run, and even found a trick to get all the green lights on that one section that used to always make you late on your way to work. You already maybe had 3 awesome endorphin pumping achievements (because lets be real... getting the kids successfully off to school each day is an achievement in itself) where you primed, pumped, and ready to kill it during that first meeting.
While whatever Rockstar dream you may be living during those extra Zzzz's may seem amazing, its not going to prepare you for the day like your pre sheltering in place routine would have. Being your best self and over 90% on and engaged (individual dependent) is next to impossible when you are just waking up and only have 3 min before you are expected to perform. So unless you are a Rockstar and live off certain "enhancers" (which by no means what so ever is condoned by the fitter commuter) its time to let the show go on leave that guitar on the stage, and pick up those running shoes instead.
