So its your first day, week, month working from home and you want to show everyone you are a rock star- Signing in early, working through lunch, responding to emails past midnight.... While this on the surface may earn bonus points and gold start over your less than ambitious colleagues… eventually its going to wear you down and take its toll. The signs may not appear in the first month or even first year- but the cracks will start to form.
The body and especially the mind need multiple forms of stimuli and while that billionth new thing we have been able to wring out of Excel to solve the latest fire situation or Final Final v3 90+ slide deck are very engaging, the mind and body are a dual package and both need to be stimulated to function as harmonic as possible.
Stick to your Macro Routines- if you were already working from 5am-11pm then I have another posting for that... but if you were working out in the mornings before your commute in or taking a walk during lunch-CONTINUE doing that. Your body, mind, and co-workers will thank you in the end.
